NEW MODELS DISPLAYED AT THE GENOA BOAT SHOW:
Seventeen new models are being presented in Genoa, of which 5 are world previews and 12 are Italian previews:
Ferretti 470 (world preview)
The new Ferretti 470 was created to renew, reinterpret and replace the previous Ferretti 460 model. This was launched in 2004 withgreat acclaim from clients and press, with almost 80 models now sailing the world’s seas. The new Ferretti 470 consolidates the yard’s intention to complete its new entry range with a model that fully reflects the innovative layout concept introduced by the Ferretti 510, and penetrate an international target group of young, privileged owners. A product of the highly successful collaboration between the AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology, the Ferretti group’s naval research and design centre – and the Studio Zuccon International Project, the Ferretti 470 is an ideal blend of form and function. The combination of compact size - 14.65 metres long, with a 4.34 metre beam – and intelligent optimization of space creates an opportunity to enjoy the best of Italian-style luxury and experience sailing while surrounded by levels of comfort unheard of until now in this type of yacht. Ferretti 470 offers a range of features that makes it unique in its class – firstly, the window area has been increased, providing a sweeping, uninterrupted view from stern to bow, allowing natural light to flood the entire living area. The location of the galley aft also optimizes the use of interior space and enhances liveability by opening the swinging window,. In fact, it is possible to create a single open space with a seamless transition between the cockpit, galley and living area. For guests’ accommodations, three cabins provide generous on board space– two for guests and a forward master cabin with large bathroom, plus a sun lounge offering plenty of room to enjoy the sea and the sun on the flybridge, where the absence of a roll bar lightens the yacht’s already sleek lines, giving it an elegant, sporty silhouette.
Ferretti 631 (world preview)

The new Ferretti 631 is the evolution of the model 630, that has been the pioneer of the onboard space revolution thanks to the introduction of the astern galley. The Ferretti 631 posed yet another successful challenge to the design and planning skills of Studio Zuccon International Project and AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology, the Ferretti groupdesign and research centre - who were able to create a yacht of great space and luminosity. The exterior profile of theFerretti 631 is very slender and aggressive, thanks to the enlargement of the uninterrupted spherical glazed surface extending from stern to bow. In the interior, the result is a 360-degree view of the sea, enhancing the impression of depth. Externally, numerous solutions have been conceived to heighten the pleasure of outdoor life: on the new flying bridge – more outstretched and sharper – a large sun lounge zone occupies the full width of the yacht near the bow, in front of the helmsman’s station, where a fixed and extendable table is surrounded by a U-shaped sofa. The back of the sofa, on the helmsman’s side, can be rearranged to obtain a two-seater sofa and facilitate the conversation with the person at the controls. The roll-bar of the 630 version has been replaced by an innovative aileron, while the fridge-grill area is situated next to the ladder leading up to the fly bridge. The cockpit of the Ferretti 631 has been equipped with a fixed teak table for up to 8 people, with a storage compartment for stowing away the chairs. A bar cabinet, that may enclose a fridge has been installed next to the galley area, which communicates with the exterior by means of a tilt window. From the cockpit, it is possible to reach the crew’s quarters, with a cabin that can be fitted out with one or two beds and a toilet.
The revolution of space on the Ferretti 631 can be perceived the moment you open the swinging door to the lounge, where a brand-new layout welcomes the guests.

Ferretti Altura 840

Altura, the series that has made a significant contribution to the story of modern sailing, isbeing revived. The new model was conceived an evolution of the famous Altura line, offering lovers of sailing a new way of “Essere Ferretti”, experiencing the sea with all the comforts of an exclusive villa without compromise and enjoying the design, quality and technology of Ferretti yachts. The Altura 840 marks an evolution and renewal for the yard, extending the historic series born in the mid-1970s with Altura 42 – a fibreglass motorsailer inspired by the principles of light, comfort and safety. This was followed in the 1980s by the Altura 46 and Altura 49, “pioneer” models that opened up an age of motoryachting with cutting edge innovation. After the 2005 launch of the Altura 690, a 21 metre yacht combining the Altura philosophy with innovative Ferretti group technology, and the Altura 840, the yard has now completed an important stage in the evolution of the line. Designed by the Studio Zuccon International Project in collaboration with the AYT – the Ferretti Engineering Division. Altura 840 now stands alongside Altura 690, which provided the inspiration behind the design project, as an extremely comfortable yacht with generous, welcoming spaces and cutting edge technology, complemented by finishesthat have an especiallynautical feel and an extensive use of wood. In terms of comfort and speed, the Altura 840 offers characteristics, which showcase the technological advancements and outstanding features of the entire Ferretti Yachts fleet-– two Mitsubishi ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) stabilizers, standard equipment on the Altura 840, which reduce rolling motion up to 50 percent.

Pershing 64’

Pershing 64’ is the very latest yacht to be designed and developed by Fulvio De Simoni, Pershing’s Engineering Department and Ferretti group’s AYT(Advanced Yacht Technology).
Introduced for the very first time at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in April, this model is outfitted with twin 1550 hp MAN engines and Arneson ASD 14L drives, which push Pershing 64’ to a top speed of no less than 46 knots with a cruising speed of 40 knots. “To surprise the future” was the concept, which inspired each and every processing stage to create this model. This aggressive, streamlined 64 footer, features the spaciousness and luxury typical of flybridge craft, in an open model with the strength of a sport performance vessel. Once the prototype of a sort of authentic revolution in terms of style and functionality, the Pershing 64’ features a number of innovations and is attributed with a long side window, which gives her structure a particularly sleek appeal and makes the interiors much brighter. Also, a slide-away glass partition separates the interior salon from the external cockpit, offering the option of closing it off or transforming it into a large single, open area. Another added feature includes the last generation hard top that slides back to provide the perfect amount of shade in the cockpit.
The interiors feature 3 cabins, 3 heads and crew area as well as an innovative interior layout where the galley is located on an intermediate level and opens up directly to the upper salon.
Outside, this model features all of the options usually only seen on mega-yachts, such as a double stairway accessing the spacious cockpit, a barbecue unit, an L-shaped divan and folding teak table. Under the vast central sundeck, a large hangar can store a tender measuring up to 3.25m in length, using the stowaway telescopic gangway, which doubles as a crane when launched. The innovative windshield on Pershing 64’, built from a single pane of glass, also deserves a special mention, as well as the invaluable working relationship with Poltrona Frau who exclusively designed all of the seating and leather coverings to even the last of the most detailed finishes.

Pershing 80’
The new Pershing 80’ is the latest brainchild of yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni and Pershing’s Engineering Department and Ferretti group’s AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology. The shipyard’s very latest challenge is toconcentrate on this prestigious segment and forge ahead to continue developing increasingly larger crafts without renouncing to the sporting style, speed and control that makes Pershing yachts so unique. The standard version of this model features powerful twin 2030 hp MTU engines coupled with ASD 15L surface propellers guaranteeing a top speed of 44 knots. A faster version is available and is outfitted with twin 2435 hp MTU engines offering a top speed of 50 knots at 1/3 loaded displacement. Many other features give this yacht an edge over her competitors. It features anextendable-retractable hard top and slide away glass partition formed of two separate sections that make it possible to create a separation between the cockpit and the upper salon, or join them together to create an open area. Thedinette in the bow is another new exciting feature, especially when combined with the highly versatile, modular sundeck that also boasts a bimini top. Below deck, the craft has the style and space typical of a megayacht. The galley, which is separate from the salon, can be accessed from the crew quarters; the night area, in both the three and four cabin versions, offers the height of comfort and design, and the unique, open-view maxi window of the master cabin is located in the center of the yacht. Overall, the interior layout is both practical and ingenious, thereby maximizing the opportunities for many activities on board. Other exclusive features include a unique pilot house and sumptuous leather seating and surfaces designed by acclaimed designer Poltrona Frau.

Itama SeventyFive

Itama Seventy Five is an open fibreglass yacht measuring 23,54 meters, which can accommodate up to 16 people comfortably. Designed by yacht designer Marco Casali and Itama’s Engineering Department and Ferretti group’s AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology, this yacht features twin 1823 hp MTU engines and Arneson ASD 14 drives, enabling her to reach a top speed of 43 knots and a cruise comfortably at 38 knots. The exterior profile has been designed to enhance the craft’s aura of power: a high bow, distinctive curved profile, the sleek structure of her slim central carbon roof and imposing carbon windscreen are perfectly expressive features of the sporty soul of this open model, represented through the brilliant balance between design, weight and engineering. The innovative structure of the avantop means it can slide away to cover the entire front area of the cockpit while cruising in just a few seconds. This area is split into two by the helm station, a single, vertically designed suspended block, which separates the living area from the more intimate, relaxing lounge area to the fore of the console. Great care has also been taken into the style of the retractable bimini top covering the dinette, which stows away the fabric in a special carbon housing case that closes automatically. On board, one is immediately struck by the extraordinary quality of the living areas and use of space. In almost 60 square meters in size, this yacht is split into 4 areas and includes a second, private dinette to the fore of the console from which guests can directly access the bow sundeck through a large, front, slide-away opening. This model also has a spacious central cockpit and stern sundeck suspended over the hangar. The standard layout features 3 cabins (a master cabin, a full beam VIP cabin, and a guest cabin with twin beds set side-by-side) and 3 heads, as well as a twin crew cabin with head. In this original layout, the dinette is remarkably spacious and owners can even choose to include a bar and a 60-inch TV, two ideal features for further enhancing the craft’s propensity for socializing. The craft is also available in a 4 cabin layout (master cabin, full beam VIP cabin, one guest cabin with twin beds, and one guest cabin with bunk beds), 4 heads, as well as a twin cabin with head for the crew. The finishes of the interiors provide a new interpretation of the typically 70s style, characterized by a beautiful blend of leather and wood, steel accents, white lacquered finishes and curves and angles of the yacht.

Riva continues its adventure in the megayacht segment, with a new, refined model: 92’ Duchessa. Mauro Micheli’s pencil and his team at Officina Italiana Design have once again managed to sketch a winning yacht. The chromatic balance between the shades of the black American walnut and the white varnished wood of the flooring, replaced with white stone in marble powder in the dining area makes this environment welcoming. The slightly raised pilot station features a comfortable dinette for the crew. A utility room has been created under the pilot station. The L-shaped kitchen is fully equipped, including a sink, a refrigerator – larger than the average on this category – and burners along the wall. The layout of the deck includes the living room, with a C-shaped sofa that can be transformed into a comfortable bed by means of the adjustable height table. Behind the captain’s seat is a large L-shaped container, which integrates the rich interior of the deck. Apreamare 64’ Fly

Apreamare 64’ Fly is a 20 metre craft which brings the shape and method of sailing classical Gozzo Sorrentinos up to date. She is now available in a flybridge version for the very first time. Thanks to the creative design of Victory Design, this craft was created from a desire to combine a progressive design with classical appeal and pay homage to Apreamare tradition. The result was the Apreamare 64’ fly, a formal, volumetric development of the original Gozzo Sorrentino. The exterior is characterized by elegant lines, and the bow features the ever-present “horseshoe” divan. The stern, a key feature of the project thanks to its pronounced shape, integrates perfectly with the lines of the hull, enhancing the classical rounded form which has always distinguished this yacht. This area houses a comfortable divan which can be converted into a practical, sundeck as needed. The flybridge version is complete with a large sundeck astern, helm seat and a fully equipped instrument panel for driving the craft through all conditions. The layout of the below deck areas is similar to the sought after, alluring layout of the 60’. Apreamare 64’ fly is fitted with twin MAN 1100 hp Common Rail engines, and will have a top speed of 31 knots with crusings speeds of 27 knots.

Apreamare Maestro 82’

With the Maestro line, Apreamare has drawn on its 150-year long experience of designing crafts and has enhanced this experience by turning to the design studio of Zuccon International Project to incorporate another design perspective into the creation of these crafts. Apreamare has seeked out this perspective for the Maestro line, particularly to apply more of a “marine culture” or essence to its crafts, a philosophy that is often overlooked in the designing process. Maestro 82’ confirms that she belongs to this culture and is eager to compete with other crafts of a similar category. Measuring 24 meters, she offers on-board amenities that make her truly unique and represents living marine life to the fullest.
One of the most appealing aspects of Maestro 82’ is the open feeling of both the exterior and interior of the yacht, it is almost transparent with the application of vertical glazing.. The size of its hull and superstructure are quite grandiose, even though it appears so light and airy. Among its unique design features, the configuration of the below deck area is most certainly worth a mention. This area features three incredible double cabins for owner and guests, and a twin cabin with parallel beds, as well as four heads, all outfitted with separate shower units. The crew quarters can accommodate up to four comfortably and come standard with full head and double shower.
With such a large hull, this yacht can be configured to the owners liking, a luxury that is very typical of larger crafts. Owners can have a choice of creating three double cabins, which can also be transformed into a twin cabin. The driver’s seat can also be tailored and the garage, which is located astern, features a hatch that can be extended out to create a terrace that expands over the sea. Also, keen attention was placed on the configuration of the flybridge area, providing a spacious environment that can adapt to an owner’s personalized options.
The galley and lounge-dining area are designed to accommodate comfortable and elegant living and dining experiences. Maestro 82’ features a range of unusual functional solutions in the cockpit and bow areas that were devised to increase the potential of this yacht, making sure she meets the expectations of a demanding clientele and created to enhance the pleasurable experiences on board. CRN Navetta 43 #2 ‘Hana’ (world preview)

The second hull of the CRN 43 displacement line made of composite materials, “Hana”, is a mega-yacht with a discrete, delicate personality. The result of a joint effort on the part of the CRN technical staff and the Zuccon International Project Firm, which designed the external layout, the vessel is further enriched by the contribution of the Claude Missir Agency, whose designers handled the decor and furnishings of the interiors. A 43-metre boat ideal for long-range cruising in full comfort, “Hana” can accommodate 11 passengers and 9 crew members. The stylistic choices made stress elegance and simplicity, resulting in a maxi-yacht that is modern but never too minimalist; linear in design, but without being classic or spare. Light is the key element in the architecture of the ship, characterised not only by the space reserved for windows, but also by the decision to use a single type of wood panelling on all the decks. The light-hued, relaxing shades of Tanganyika oak highlight the luminous quality, further emphasised by the use of exquisite fabrics in pastel tints, in tones running from aquamarine to turquoise to ivory and amber. The volumes of the external spaces are impressive, being designed to restore a more direct tie between the owner of the ship and his guests. This was the point of building, in the aft portion of the lower deck, a workout room outfitted with all the latest Technogym equipment for fitness. A further distinguishing characteristic of the line is the area created by opening the stern hatch, which transforms itself into a beach platform perched just above the water, designed to allow guests to fully experience the closeness of the sea. An other distinctive feature of “Hana” is the exclusive terrace of the owner’s suite, faced out onto the sea and outfitted with comfortable overstuffed chairs and coffee tables. In the aft portion of the lower deck is the engine room, where two CATERPILLAR C32-C motors power the ship at a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.

Custom Line Navetta 33

Navetta 33 is the new Custom Line model designed with the aim of extending and completing the semi-displacement series. Almost 33 metres long, with a beam of 7 metres, the Navetta 33 offers a new concept in on-board life, with generous spaces, natural light and high levels of comfort. The “Navetta” model’s classic external lines integrate harmoniously with the contemporary feel of the interiors. The imposing presence of the Navetta 33 reflects the full depth of the yard’s experience – this is a yacht that accepts no compromises in liveability or infotainment, offering innovative technology that’s now such an essential feature in modern designs. Navetta 33 - created by the collaboration between Ferretti’s AYT, Advanced Yacht Technology, and the Studio Zuccon International Project - presents four relevant features: two main deck layouts. One emphasizesthe day and dining areas with two separate dedicated zones and the other focusses on the bow cabin, thereby emphasizing total privacy for the owner; four large open view windows transform the cabins into light-filled sea view suites arecharacterized by the warm tones of woods and natural fabrics,; a large sky lounge with living area where foldback windows creates an open space with sunbathing area equipped with roomy sunbeds and the exclusive Anti Rolling Gyro production system, which cuts roll caused by wave motion at anchor or under way up to 50%, ensures maximum comfort on board. Navetta 33, like the entire Ferretti Custom Line range, offers another plus – ample opportunity to personalize the yacht. This allows the owner, assisted by one of the yard’s architects, to intervene during the construction of the yacht and select woods, materials, fabrics and décor from an extensive offer of prestigious finishesand collaborations with one of the brands representing the best of Italian style and workmanship.
